Backround

A year after being born in Stavanger, Norway Molly and her parent's packed up and moved to Oslo. With an English father, Molly naturally started at a British school in Bekkestua. At 10 years of age the family moved back to Stavanger, and Molly started at the International School of Stavanger. She quickly got in to sports and played junior varsity and varsity basketball for 4 years and did track & field with good results in 100 and 200m sprint. At the same time Molly got interested in horses and riding. This became a big passion and after 12 years, 5 horses, uncountable competitions and a move to Denmark, Molly had to give it all up due to an allergy that got worse over the years.

Next to horses and other sport, Molly had a big interest in cars. She had older friends with cars, and was often seen with them and different happenings and in the garage. This passion grew and after moving back from Denmark Molly found out it was time for a change. At 21, Molly packed what she had and moved back to Oslo. At the time she had a modified sportscar that she took to events and was seen in pretty much all the time. She wanted more, and a year later sold the car to be able to start a 4 year long project of building her first race car. In 2009, at the age of 25 she had her debut i racing with a home made Nissan 200sx s13.

Racing

What started out as a hobby in 2009 turned into an aspiring professional racing career within a few years. Molly started racing at 25, and found herself becoming very passionate about the sport. Coming from no motorsport background Molly started from scratch and ran her own team with a Ford Mustang sponsored by AMCAR in Denmarks biggest racing series, Danish Thundersport Championship(DTC). DTC is combined with the evolving Norwegian series NTCC(Norwegian Thunder Car Championship).
Molly's debut year in DTC & NTCC(2013)got her off to a good start finishing several races within the top 10 and taking 2nd in the Norwegian Championship. 2014 continued in the same good pace, taking with her a new career experience of a pole position.

2015 was a tough season for Molly with a huge crash at the 2nd race weekend in Aarhus, Denmark. Molly was out of the season until she managed with great help from sponsors and friends to come back to the final race of the season.

Molly needed a change for the 2016 season and moved to the new competing top-series in Denmark, DST (Danish Supertourisme Turbo). The series was split into to with the AM and Pro drivers. Molly achieved several podiums in the AM class in 2016 & 2017 and in June 2017 on her home track, Rudskogen she placed 6th overall amongst 23 drivers making this a career highlight.

Molly took a step back from racing in 2018 but the dream is to one day be back behind the wheel.

Reporter/Commentator/Presenter

Molly's passion for motorsport sent her in many directions, one of which was reporting, commentating and presenting for tv. She started off working for Gatebil doing all the reporting for their annual dvd.
This led to reporting from different motorsport events all over Norway and Sweden.

Molly has done commentary for the WRC on Viasat Sport in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
This all led to her getting the job as LIVE reporter for 6 rounds of the FIA World Rallycross Championship in 2014.
In 2015 Molly was official reporter/commentator for TV2 Norway at the World Rally Championship.

Starting in 2016 and to this day Molly is a reporter for the World Rally Championship (WRC). Reporting is what Molly has done the most and has worked under many events and Championships over the last 20 years.

Presenting is also on Molly´s CV both in Norwegian and English.

In Norway Molly has presented the reality TV-series on NRK1, "Sjette Gir" in 2019.
For several years now Molly has also been the host of the highlights program from the Norwegian Rally Championship, also on NRK1.

Outside of Norway Molly has been a broadcast host at the FIA World Rally Championship, European Rally Championship, FIA World Rallycross Championship, RallyX Nordic, AudiSport "Inside Dakar" (daily highlight show from the Dakar Rally), EKS Pre-grid show (live show from World Rallycross).
